This is located closed to Palo Alto Medical group , quite convenient to have lunch here for the staffs and visitors . It has plenty of small tables . Menu is extensive . Besides dim sum , that have lunch rice plates , congee and won ton noodle soup , desserts and appetizers. The dim sum is steamed when you order , so they are very very hot , which is a plus in Chinese dim sum . Price are very reasonable too . The only draw back is the restrooms . It is only moderately clean and wet on the floor . Probably due to lack of staffs and they all focus on the restaurant side to prepare the food and serve the customers. Easy to find parking cause it has a big parking lot . Dim sum can be served all day and evening . But if you order dim sum after 6 pm , they charge 25 cents more per item .

My go to spot for dim sum in Fremont! Food tastes good and prices are very affordable. Service is also decent and fairly efficient. Lines aren't too crazy on the weekend which is also a plus! We often order takeout from here as well. One of their specialties are definitely their baked buns! My favorites are the salted egg custard bun and the baked BBQ pork bun.

August 18, 2024. Sunday Brunch Date w/ The Parental Unit. BK's Bistro 3113 Stevenson Blvd, Fremont, CA 94538 https://dinfo.me/bksbistro-togo.com/ 510-770-8818 I wish I had pictures of BK Bistro, but sadly I was super hungry, hangry, starving and the camera never had a chance. BUT so highly recommend this place for Saturday or Sunday dim sum brunching. I would advise to be arrive when it opens at 10:00am or else the after-church crowd will start arriving at around 1130ish. We did our church at 7:30am. Lol. I love that they have a outdoor seating area. They are open 7 days a week. Service was efficient, and our orders arrived shortly after we placed the order. Yes! It may seem a lot of dishes but that is lunch and dinner for Monday. Very friendly and service with a smile staff. Bathroom stalls are clean. Thank you, BK Bistro, for keeping clean and tidy. As a customer it is very much appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our Sunday brunch-dim sum style. We will be back. Steamed Taro Pork Dumplings Deep Fried Mango Shrimp Rolls (OMG! What? YES, everyone needs to try this deliciousness). BAKED SALTY EGG CUSTARD BUNS (Heavenly goodness) Mango Mochi (What! Fluffiness of awesomeness). Steamed Chicken Feet, Black Bean Sauce. Wor Wonton Soup. Stir Fried String Beans with Chicken. Combination Chowmein.

A friend of mine took me here a month ago. I enjoyed what we ordered. So I went back. I had shrimp and pork wonton noodles soup, lotus chicken sticky rice, and (yes and, I wanted left overs ) fish fillet with mushrooms, ho fun noodles in XO sauce. The first time I had it. It was amazing. I pair it up with their chili sauce on the table. The dish had a great amount of fillet fish , veggies and noodles. But when I ordered one for take out. The noodles wasn't mixed into my fish and vegetables. I was a bit disappointed. There didn't have enough fish or mushrooms but tons of ho fun noodles. I didn't receive the wow factor like I did the first time I had it. Let's talk about the shrimp and pork wontons, baby bok Choy with eggs noodle soup . I enjoyed the wontons. It's better than most places but my egg noodles were over cooked and it was in a clump. They gave a lot of bok choy. I would have like another kind of vegetable since I not a fan fond of baby Bok Choy. Lotus chicken sticky rice. First time trying it here. I ordered it to go. I was peeking at other customers who had ordered it. I wanted to see the size of it. It looked decent. But when I got home. They must of thought I was on a diet or something. It wasn't like the size I've seen on the other orders. Mine was a bit smaller than usual. But, the flavor of this dish was not to disappoint. The taste was spot on. You have the sticky rice, marinated chicken, Chinese sausage (aka lop Chung) shiitake mushrooms, dried shrimp, and a duck egg mixed with a little bit of hoisen sauce and white pepper. It was really good but I wish I had more of it to eat. Ok down to the service. When I came in there were about 4 tables that were filled. My waitress was so attentive to what I needed. She was great through my dining. No complaints. I had excellent service. The ambiance of the restaurant is like a traditional Chinese restaurant. It was clean. The busboys/gals. Cleared the tables fast for the next customer. Everything ran efficiently. I almost forgot to mention the most exciting part of this trip. You can order DIM SUM for dinner. They have it anytime of the day. I'm looking forward to having dim sum for dinner. Isn't that wonderful. Dim Sum unusually ends at 2:00 pm. So this is definitely a plus. Overall, my experience dining-in was pleasant. I enjoyed my shrimp and pork wonton. It was fresh. My take out was a bit disappointing . But still tasted delicious. I'll be back to try different dishes and the dim sum. Give it a try, you may like it.

One of my favorite last-minute local dimsum spots. The atmosphere isn't anything noteworthy: it's clean, not opulent. In my experience, the staff here have always been efficient and fast at whipping out the food. That being said, the best part of this place is their food. At each dimsum restaurant I visit, har gow is my one must-have, and BK's doesn't disappoint. Their friend bean curd with shrimp is also high on my list. If you're a dried noodle fan, absolutely try their house special (fair warning: I wouldn't let it sit and get soggy or the texture changes the experience).

I have been here a few times and I've always loved their food. Never salty, never bland... just right. They have 2 menus - the regular, which is regular Chinese dishes and the dimsum menu. Came here with my family. We always get our food from the dimsum menu, except for this time where we also tried the crispy noodles from the regular menu. It was good, with a lot of other proteins and vegetables. I made a mistake of ordering the rice noodle roll with XO sauce, I was actually trying to order the rice noodle roll with shrimp. Nonethelss, the roll with XO sauce was still good, although I would not order it next time time, just because I'd like more protein in my food. Another thing we ordered but I forgot to take a picture of is the baked salty egg custard bun. The bun is so soft and salty egg custard is delicious. It could be messy to eat though as the custard could flow from the bun if you are not careful. Everything else were our regulars and were just perfect.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with 3 adults, 2 kids and luckily grabbed the last round table. Ordered about 10 dishes to share. Everything was tasty with good size dumplings! Not the skimpy ones. The only dish I didn't love was the snow pea leaves. I didn't order the food or see the menu, but it's usually just sautéed with garlic but no garlic on this dish. And it was pretty bland. Everything else was good - shu mai, shrimp dumplings, soup dumplings (so big and lots of soup), pork spare ribs, chicken feet, salt and pepper eggplant and pumpkin (interesting dish not usually found at Chinese places). Only thing I didn't get to try because we were too full was a rice noodle roll dish. Decent size place with 4 single room restrooms. The service was ok, they are very busy so don't stick around too long. If you need something, get ready to ask when they drop something off at your table.

I love going to this restaurant during my lifetime. Dim sum is really good and fresh. My sister and our relatives bought home food and usually they get eaten in a day or two. Goes to show how good the food is. I should plan to go to that restaurant to dine in and review its atmosphere. It's been years since having to dine there, but I want to see if there are any changes at the inside.

Stopped by BK's Bistro for some Saturday lunch dim sum! Two of us ordered: -tea $1.25/pp -steamed shrimp pork dumpling (shumai) $6.19 -chicken feet $5.19 -steamed shrimp dumplings $6.19 -steamed shanghai style dumpling $6.19 -steamed beef tripe ginger green onion $5.49 -pan fried pot stickers $5.19 We definitely ordered a lot for two and had some leftover. Could have gone without the pot stickers. XLB was on the heavier side and stuck to the tin. Chicken feet and shumai were good. Staff was friendly. Dim sum experience without all the chaos and carts bumping into you. Easy parking in the area.
